While not strictly a planned capital like #CBR, Paris was rebuilt by #FRA in the early 19th century to maintain the city as its capital. Perhaps not enough of a connection to support #FRA at #Eurovision? #ConnectedCapitals

Another fun #Eurovision related fact. Like #AUS, #RUS moved their capital city to a purpose built location, Saint-Petersburg (back in 1712), where it remained for 200 year until moving back to Moscow. Only 100 years to catch-up #CBR #ConnectedCapitals #Allaboard

Go #AUS at #Eurovision SF2! As Australians can’t vote for ourselves, why not vote for #Malta? Like #Canberra, #MLT planned and built #Valletta to be its capital, the oldest purpose built capital in Europe. #ConnectedCapitals
